Michigan State NCAA tournament practice at LCA open to public Thursday

While tickets can be a bit pricey and even more scarce, there isn't a lot of opportunity to see these teams up close as they play the biggest games of their young careers.

The 2018 NCAA tournament is coming to Detroit as first- and second-games at Little Caesars Arena on Friday and Sunday.

While tickets can be a bit pricey and even more scarce, there isn't a lot of opportunity to see these teams up close as they play the biggest games of their young careers.

Except for Thursday's stretch of open practices.

Michigan State, the headliner for the weekend at LCA, will hold a 40-minute practice beginning at 3:25 p.m. at Little Caesars Arena. Not only is admission free, but parking is free in the lots north of I-75.

All eight teams scheduled to play in Detroit on Friday will have practice at LCA on Thursday. And all of those practices are free, too.
