Park Twp man allegedly used public WiFi to access child porn

Authorities say a Park Township man used public WiFi to download child sexually abusive content.

UPDATE, March 16: The suspect has been identified as 54-year-old Donald John Oosterbaan. He has been charged with the possession of child sexually abusive material.

He was released from Ottawa County Jail on a $5,000 bond set for further court arraignments. The case is still under investigation.

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. - Authorities say a Park Township man used public WiFi to download child sexually abusive content. The Ottawa County Sheriff's office arrested the 54-year-old man after an eight month investigation.

Authorities say the man went into a Holland area senior assisted living facility to download the material several times. They don't believe he was a resident but they did arrest him going into the facility Wednesday afternoon.

He is currently at the Ottawa County Jail. Police will not release his name until he is arraigned.
