GRPM's free day in full swing; summer camp registration is still open

This Sunday, Grand Rapids Public Museum is offering up a special free day -- which is the perfect time to check it out and decide which summer camps you may want to sign your children up for.

Sunday is the perfect day to check out the Grand Rapids Public Museum -- it's free!

The museum is opening it's door free of charge Sunday, March 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to a sponsorship from the Kent County Farm Bureau. Visitors to the GRPM will receive free general admission to explore all three floors of the museum and the core exhibits.

The Water's Extreme Journey is also included in the free admission, but additional exhibits like the Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids, the planetarium and the carousel are available for an additional charge.

The museum's free day is the perfect chance to see what interests your children the most and then sign them up for the various summer camps the GRPM has to offer.

Camp registration is now open and each camper will receive a free camp t-shirt. There are also discount codes and member discounts available.

Registration for the museum's summer camps opened about a month ago and fill up fairly quickly, so if this something you and your children interested be sure to check it out before it's too late.

Prices range in length of camp -- which can be one-day or up to four and five day-long camps.

There are more than 30 camps at the Grand Rapids Public Museum for children and teens interested in a myriad of different topics.

For more information about free day and summer camps, visit the GRPM's website.
