Police investigating after two Wyoming High School students hospitalized

Wyoming emergency crews were dispatched to Wyoming High School on Thursday March 22, after students fell ill after eating brownies suspected to have contained a controlled substance.

Two students in Wyoming wound up in the hospital after eating a brownie provided by another student.

Wyoming emergency crews were dispatched to Wyoming High School on Thursday, March 22, after students fell ill after eating brownies suspected to have contained a controlled substance.

Wyoming Police Department Captain Kim Koster said the two students were taken to the hospital for treatment and later released.

Koster said the department is testing the brownies to determine what, if any, substance they contained.

Once those tests are back, police will determine if charges should be filed.

A representative for Wyoming Public Schools said they are not releasing any information at this time.
