ST. IGNACE, Mich. - They have a bridge they can sell you.

Well, at least pieces of a bridge.

Massive chunks of the Mackinac Bridge weighing about 2 tons each are being sold in an online auction.

Prospective buyers can bid on seven identical pieces of the original steel deck grating of the 60-year-old bridge on GovDeals.com. The seller is the Mackinac Bridge Authority.

The pieces are about 5½-feet-by-38 feet and 5 inches deep and are in used condition with corrosion and section loss appropriate to steel of its age, according to the listings.

The gratings were originally coated with lead-based paint, much of which is gone, according to the posts, but buyers will have to sign a hold harmless agreement related to the "lead paint and the structural condition of the grating."

Bids started at $160 for each item. The auction closing dates are April 19 for some pieces and April 20 for others.
