This weekend, Fountain Street Church hosted an alternative prom for local high school students, including homeschoolers.
The event was held on Saturday night, April 21 at the downtown Grand Rapids church. The theme for the event this year was Decades Disco Dance.
The event was free for students, and there was a suggested donation at the door.
Fountain Street Church is an independent, non-denominational house of worship. It has a history of progressive action in West Michigan.
