Holland company sets up flag garden for Memorial Day

The company has also been certified as a Veteran Friendly Employer by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.

HOLLAND, Mich. - Employees at GNS America are honoring those who have died serving and protecting the United States with a flag garden.

Flags were placed in honor of specific people on the lawn in front of the GNS building at 13341 Quincy Street. Other people from the company donated money that will be given to the Holland VFW Post 2144.

GNS America matched the donations, and $1,000 will be given to the VFW post. The company has also been certified as a Veteran Friendly Employer by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, and they employ 15 veterans.

The public is welcome and invited to visit the flag garden on either Sunday, May 27 or Memorial Day.
