Private meetings between MSU trustees Wednesday and Thursday to discuss the fallout of former university doctor Larry Nassar's sex abuse scandal.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State University's Board of Trustees are planning to hold private meetings Wednesday and Thursday to discuss the fallout of Larry Nassar's sex abuse scandal.

Trustees have planned an "unofficial" retreat on campus before the public meeting this Friday amid key issues the university is facing, including the $500 billion settlement with the former MSU doctor's victims and the future of the interim president, John Engler.

Trustees are under fire to force Engler to resign, or to fire him, for disparaging comments he made about Nassar survivors during meetings and internal emails.

13 ON YOUR SIDE will be on MSU's campus on Friday for the public meetings.

Hundreds of girls and women were abused by Larry Nassar over the last two decades. He was sentenced to 40-175 years in prison.
