FERRYSBURG, Mich. - A cyclist is recovering from her injuries after getting hit while participating in the Gran Fondo event Satuday, June 23.
It happened just before 11 a.m. in Ferrysburg. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says the 35-year-old cyclist was heading westbound on 3rd Street, crossing Oak Street, when she was struck by a driver pulling on to Oak. He says he never saw the cyclist.
She suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital in good condition.
