Man stabbed in Grand Rapids home, police arrest suspect

Police say that the victim and the suspect are brothers.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A man was stabbed in Grand Rapids on Tuesday just before 11 a.m., according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

Police say that the suspect forced his way into a home on Brenner Street NE and stabbed the victim several times, and they say that the two are brothers.

By the time law enforcement arrived, the suspect had fled on foot. Police set up a perimeter and brought in a K9 to track down the man.

They located the suspect hiding a block away from the house. He was taken in to custody.

The victim is still at the hospital in critical condition.
