GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Drivers who use the Ford Interchange will likely be affected by a ramp closure starting Wednesday.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will begin bridge work at 9 a.m. and the work will require the closure of the ramp from southbound US-131 to eastbound I-196.
The ramp will remain closed until August 30.
MDOT provided this detour: Take southbound US-131 to westbound I-196 and exit at Lane Avenue to enter eastbound I-196.
The work is weather dependent.
