Here is what's happening in West Michigan this weekend!

For many kids, this is the last weekend of summer! Here is a look at some of the events happening this weekend!

Many West Michigan students will be heading back to school Monday, so this is your last chance for some summer family fun. There are a ton of free musical and movie events going on in West Michigan Friday night to enjoy.

Harvey Street in Holland will be full of street performers, live music, art work and food. "Happenings on Harvey" runs from 5 to 8 Friday night.

Holland will also have music at Kollen park Friday. The free event features the band Lomax Big House from 6-30 to 8-30.

Muskegon is holding a party in the park at Hackley Park Friday. The band Flexa-decibel will Perform. The free event is from 5 to 9 p-m.

Beers at the Bridge wraps up at Leonard Field at the Ada Covered Bridge Friday. The family-friendly event is free, and will feature the Thirsty Perch Blues Band. Parents can enjoy local craft beer and hard cider from 6 to 9 p-m.

Would you rather see a movie?

The LST 393 will have their final Movies on Deck Friday night. The Iron Giant will show at 9:30. Make sure you bring your own chair. Its free to attend but donations are encouraged.

Georgetown Christian Reformed Church in Hudsonville is showing Despicable Me 3. The entire community is invited to watch, and enjoy fun games and snacks.

The Allendale Township library will also be showing Despicable Me 3 Friday starting at 8:45. The free showing is at Allendale Park. Bring something to sit on, and free popcorn will be provided.

The city of Muskegon continues celebrating water week, with events all day Friday through Sunday at local restaurants, and at Pere Marquette Beach.

Movies on Monroe in Grand Rapids will hold their final showing, with Wonder Woman at 7:30, followed by Black Panther. Gates open at 6:30 tonight.

Sparta is holding a Dog Days of summer event at Rogers Park Friday night. Grab your furry friend and head out to see Secret Life of Pets, starting at dark.

East Grand Rapids will also hold their movies in the park event, with Toy Story starting at dusk. Make sure you bring something to sit on. Snacks will be available to purchase, and the money goes to teen library programs.

And it's not all just movies. The Spartan Stores YMCA in Wyoming will have a free Block party from 11 to 2 Saturday. It includes games, crafts, prizes and food.

The Muskegon Winter Sports Complex is holding their summer luge and adventures event all day Saturday. Kids can ride the luge on carts instead of sleds, solve a mystery along the trail, or learn how to become an expert archer. It's only for kids ages 5 and older, and you must buy a pass.
