Traffic signal damaged at East Kentwood High School, will be repaired Monday

The traffic signal at the entrance of East Kentwood High School has been damaged, and officials say it will be repaired Monday.

KENTWOOD, Mich. - The Kent County Road Commission has issued a temporary all-way stop at a Kentwood intersection after the traffic signal suffered damaged Sunday morning.

The entrance to East Kentwood High School at the intersection of Kalamazoo Avenue, Eastport Drive and Auditorium Drive is now an all-way stop.

The road commission says the traffic signal has been damaged, but did not elaborate on how. The signal won't be repaired until Monday, Sept. 17. Once it's repaired, the temporary all-way stop will be lifted.
