FREE COLLEGE: Students in Grand Rapids are now one step closer to getting a free college tuition. Last night, the Grand Rapids Public Schools Board of Education voted to accept the Promise Zone designation from the Michigan Department of Treasury.

CHANCE FOR SHOWERS: Today will be partly cloudy, warm and humid with a few showers possible. Highs in the upper 70s.

SEASONING RECALL: McCormick is recalling the four and a half ounce bottle of Meijer Taco Seasoning Mix. There is an unlabeled milk allergen. So far no allergic reactions have been reported. Check the UPC code and best by dates here.

TOP HONORS: Game of Thrones was the big winner at last night's 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. The show took home 9 awards. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won the comedy category.
