GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A video of a person getting choked until unconscious by what appears to be a Buffalo Wild Wings employee surfaced over the weekend and authorities say they are investigating the incident.

According to the company that owns Buffalo Wild Winds, JK & T Wings, Inc., said that the employee seen in the video has been fired.

A full statement from them read: "We are extremely disappointed by this incident at our restaurant. We have terminated the employee who obviously does not embody the values of Buffalo Wild Wings and are also working to contact the Guest involved."

A post on Facebook says the incident happened at the restaurant location on Ionia Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids.

The video shows two employees talking to a man before one of them suddenly grabs him by the neck. After a short while, the man being choked falls to the ground and is dragged away from the view of the camera.

Grand Rapids Police say the victim in the video has not come forward, and it's not immediately clear who the Buffalo Wild Wings employee is.

The incident is under investigation and no charges have been filed as of Tuesday, Sept. 18.
