Shriners parade held in Cascade

Shriners also held events in West Michigan on Friday.

CASCADE, Mich. — People gathered in Cascade this morning for a parade.

The Great Lakes Shriners Association organized the parade in downtown Cascade. Horses, little cars, bag pipers and clowns were just some who were featured at the event.

Organizers tell us the parade was fun for the whole family and helps to support a good cause.

“Shriners owns 22 hospitals for orthopedic and burn care and supply care to patients at no cost to them. So we get out here and get attention to raise awareness and to celebrate with the public," says Tom Russell an organizer.

Shriners also held events in West Michigan on Friday.
