MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. -- A woman has died after a crash in Sidney Township Saturday night. It happened on Sidney Road near Hillman around 9:30 p.m. A Stanton woman, 40, was trying to pass a slower vehicle when she collided head-on with a vehicle heading the opposite way.
The second vehicle was driven by a Greenville woman. The 25-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while her 10-month-old son was not hurt in the crash. The 40-year old did not survive.
Michigan State Police are still investigating exactly what happened.
