Grand Rapids water main break leads to closure of Fuller Avenue Northeast

Crews are on scene repairing the break. The city said the road will be reopened by Friday, Nov. 16.

UPDATE, Friday, Nov. 16: Fuller Avenue reopened on Thursday evening following the water main break.


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - North and southbound Fuller Avenue Northeast are closed between Leonard Street and Sweet Street due to a water main break.

Crews are on scene repairing the break. The city said the road will be reopened by Friday, Nov. 16.

The break was caused by the winter freeze and thaw patterns.
