GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A water main break has prompted Westwood Middle School to close at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Grand Rapids Public Schools middle school has no running water or working bathrooms because of the water main break.
The district said parents were being notified and buses were called up early to bring students home.
Westwood Middle School is on the northwest side of the city on Mt. Mercy Drive off Bridge Street.
