GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — The Grand Rapids Griffins looked to close out the Central Division’s regular season champions for the second time in the last three years, but that would not be the case Wednesday night.

The Griffins fell 5 to 2 after two empty-net goals in the third by the Wolves. Turner Elson and Derek Hulak had the goals for the Griffins while Nic Hague, Tye McGinn, T.J. Tynan, Keegan Kolesar and Cody Glass all scored for the Chicago Wolves.

Game five will now be Sunday in Chicago at 4 p.m.
