GRPD investigating break-in at Beltline Bar

Police did not believe anything was taken from the restaurant, but it's still under investigation.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police in Grand Rapids are investigating a break-in at the Beltline Bar early Wednesday morning. 

GRPD Sgt. John Wittkowski confirmed with 13 ON YOUR SIDE that a broken window seems to have been the means of entry into the bar. 

According to Grand Rapids Police, officers responded to the restaurant's alarm at around 5:30 a.m. The Beltline Bar is located at 16 28th Street SE. 

GRPD reports that nothing seems to have been stolen. Police do not have suspects in custody. 

The incident is still under investigation.
